As I look around me, sin and crime abounding
I often wonder how joy could ever be
And then I’m reminded of Yahshua’s sacrifice
He bled and he died and he suffered
And He laid down his life just for me
And with thought such as these it’s easy to see
It’s because of Messiah’s love for us
That joy can become a reality.
Evil is abundant, yet the world is shameless.
By seeking escape routes, mankind wants to be free
Yet he is not willing to forsake the carnal life;
He’d rather be living in bondage
Loving sadness and strife more than thee.
And with scenes such as these, it’s easy to see
Unless men soon turn from their present course
Hell will become a reality.
We’ve been given a mission in this sin-sick world;
A mission to make the dream of joy come true...
To live up to our calling, and to preach Messiah
To be willing to die of to suffer
To lay down our lives, Yahweh for you.
And with goals such as these, it’s easy to see
That if we persevere, standing firmly in faith,
That joy will become a reality.
Joy in the world? Yahshua is the way
To break the spell of darkness in our land
And to chase the night away
Joy in the world? Yahshua is the King
Who loosens Satan’s deadly grasp
Deliverance he brings
Joy in the world? Yahshua is the way
To turn mens’ hearts toward Elohim
That unified mankind may say,
"YAHSHUA MAKES JOY IN THE WORLD!"
