IS IT OK TO PRAY?

(reprinted from an issue of "The Herald Of Truth Newsletter", PO Box 804, Caldwell ID 83606)

It seems not all have learned our lesson yet. In Broken Arrow, OK, some parents complained about the posters in the school that said "GOD BLESS AMERICA." The school officials contacted the proper authorities and were told they were in violation of the law. The posters now say, "BLESS AMERICA". What else will it take to bring us back to (Yahweh) God?

The following was just submitted:

        So TRUE!!!!!!!!
        Just one question.
        NOW that the president has called us to prayer...
        NOW that congress has called us to prayer...
        NOW that our governor has called us to prayer...
        NOW that the NY city Mayor has called us to prayer...
        NOW that the "liberal" media and most other branches of our
        American society have called us to prayer...
        AND NOW that our Churches are assembling in special prayer...
        "Honorable" Justices of the Supreme Court,
        I have only one question...
        Would it be OK to pray in our schools?

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." (2 Chron. 7:14).

Perhaps a revision in some of our laws would be appropriate at this time.

Editor's Note: It is interesting to note the name of the town (Broken Arrow, OK) which the above mentioned incident took place in.

Psalm 127:3-5 says, "Lo, children are an heritage of Yahweh: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate."

Here in America, the parents have refused to train their own children in the ways of Yahweh, and have sent them to the government education system instead. The government has removed the Bible and prayer from their education system, and as a result, America's quiver is full of broken arrows. Her children are broken in sin, and she is defenseless against the darts of HaSatan (Satan) and his following of fallen angels.

But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of YAHWEH their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished and is cut off from their mouth. Jeremiah 7:28 11
